The Story

1990 - Holmgrens Plast AB is started by Stefan Holmgren. Stefan had then been in plastics business since 1980, running business on his own and in companionship with his brothers. The first product was a collapsable ironingboard produced for IMA Norscan.

1993 - Scandiwheels AB is started. Holmgrens Plast holds 1/3 of the companies shares.

1994 - The growth of the company initiates shifting to bigger production facilities in Gnosjö..

1997 - Scandiwheels aquires the majority in A/S Purteco in Estonia, a supplier of products in polyuretane.

1998 - A sharp rise in turnover is initiated by the start of co-operation with Lascal in producing their line of products.

1999 - Scandiwheels becomes a fully owned sunsidiary to Holmgrens Plast AB..

2000 - The company moves into a brand new, bigger and better adopted production plant in Gnosjö. The anual turnover reaches SEK 60 000 000.

2001 - Select, a system of  bins for sorting of domestic waste, is put into production. Holmgrens first customer, IMA Norscan, handles the marketing of the product.

2003 - More than SEK 10 000 000 is invested into production equipment   and fully automatic production cells – the biggest of which having a clamping force of 1000 tons.

2005 - Holmgrens introduces production in 1-component polyuretane in Sweden and becomes Scandinavian the trade representative for the production equipment for this technique.

2006 - The production plant is extended into a new building, in all housing 7000 m2 under one roof.
